I love it when companies screw up, and can then laugh at themselves for their screw up. Chevrolet is doing just that. In case you missed it, last night the San Fransisco Giants won the World Series (baseball championship for those who don’t know sports). The MVP of the series won a new Chevy Colorado truck. When the executive from Chevy was presenting the MVP with the truck, he was describing the features…good payload, diesel engine, technology and stuff…That’s right, the exec said “technology and stuff.” And today on Twitter, Chevrolet is poking fun at themselves. I love marketing like this. Clever, witty, topical and fun. It’s like the Oreo tweets during the blackout at the Super Bowl (again, for those non-sports people, that’s football) a few years ago.
