Are you like me? Do you cringe when you see a website or newsletter using an old version of a logo for a social media outlet? Every time I see a 3D-ish “t” to connect with the organization on Twitter, or on old YouTube button, my whole body shudders a little bit. Have you not noticed that Twitter has updated their brand to just be the little blue bird? Do you not read brand guidelines? Or is it just the fact that you pulled the logo off of someone else’s website and didn’t even bother checking with the original source on what the standards and guidelines are.
