In a daring move, Sweden is handing over its Twitter account each week to a (random?) citizen. That person can tweet whatever they want from the @Sweden account for a week. Bucket of worms or genius idea? People are complaining that the current tweeter is making racist comments. Although I don’t agree with the comments, they decided to hand over a Twitter account and gave people freedom to tweet what they want. Can you rescind the concept of freedom of speech on a Twitter feed which you handed over to random people? Should we really be that shocked that people are saying what’s on their mind, or should we welcome it? We are always told to “be yourself,” “speak your mind” …but not too much apparently.
