Some Vancouverites may have learned an important lesson on the power of social media, after police say their alleged shooter knew where they were based on some tweets that were sent.
This story should make everyone stop and think before they post anything on social media sites. Have an enemy? Don’t tell them where you’re going for dinner with a tweet. Going out of town for a few days? Don’t announce it on Facebook so the robbers can come break into your house.
Good tip: Pause before you post.
