When will Steve Jobs’ death stop being news?

I got this week’s edition of Maclean’s magazine in the mail today. It’s a “special tribute” to Steve Jobs. I’m not sure I even want to read it, because I still just don’t care.

Am I a bad person?

  1. No you are not a bad person. The death of Steve Jobs was saturating everything from the news so social media like Facebook and Twitter. The only reason people really cared that he passed on is because of the appleheads. 95% of people did not even know he was sick.

Everyone bows down to Jobs because of the Apple market, but about 5 years ago – before the iphone barely anyone knew who he was. He did not invent the technology, he marketed it to make it more popular if I undersand it right.

I have an ipod, but I still don’t have an iphone. I am holding out because I really don’t care very much what kind of phone I have.
